Domestically, implementing the policy of safe and flexible adaptation to the Covid-19 epidemic and economic recovery should have many positive signs. Many synchronous solutions have been implemented to ensure supply, stabilize prices of petroleum , food and foodstuffs, maintain stable interest rates and exchange rates...; The epidemic is basically under control, creating a foundation for effective implementation of the roadmap to fully open up international tourism from mid-March, open schools, entertainment services, entertainment, culture and art... creating favorable conditions for socio-economic recovery in the first quarter.

The real estate market in the first quarter also showed signs of recovery and good development. There have been many investors, real estate projects open for sale or plan to open for sale in a short time. At the same time, the volume of real estate transactions increased gradually month by month and in most segments of the market. The real estate market has regained balance between investment and business activities and buying and selling for use.

Supply is still tight
According to statistics of the Ministry of Construction, in the first quarter, there were 22 projects with more than 5,200 apartments completed. This figure is equal to about 47% compared to the fourth quarter of 2021 and about 54% compared to the same period last year.

In which, the South has 4 projects with more than 4,200 apartments, the North 13 projects with 772 apartments and the Central 5 projects with more than 200 apartments.

In the first quarter of 2022, real estate supply is still tight

The whole country has more than 1,200 projects (more than 330,000 apartments) under construction, equaling about 116% compared to the fourth quarter of 2021 and equal to 88% of the same period last year.

In the South, there are 689 projects with more than 70,400 apartments, the North 288 projects with nearly 160,000 apartments and the Central 239 projects with nearly 105,000 apartments.

In the first quarter, there were 39 newly licensed real estate projects with more than 18,600 apartments, equal to about 80% compared to the fourth quarter of 2021 and equal to 41% compared to the same period last year. In the North, there are 21 projects with 6,100 apartments, in the Central region 7 projects with more than 3,000 apartments and in the South 11 projects with nearly 9,500 apartments.
